Last weekend also saw Marc and Andrew taking on the sprint distance Spanish City Triathlon at Whitley Bay. Despite a very dodgy forecast the night before the weather held off and conditions were great. Which is quite a way better than the swim conditions the field took on. A very aggressive swell meant for an exceptionally tough outward swim!! Both had a good showing with Marc finishing in the top 20 with a time of 1:14:18 and Andrew a time of 1:33:39.
